What is new at Hukseflux
November 2011: Fast response pyranometer SR03 and fast response pyrheliometer DR02 are fully available. Both instruments have a response time of less than 1 second. (traditional instruments have a response time of 15-20 seconds)
SR03 is the fastest ISO Second Class compliant pyranometer on the market. The short response time is reached due to cutting-edge advances in thermopile sensing technology. Both SR03 and DR02 are ideally suited for solar energy applications. the instruments will match the response time of the panels more closely than other types of pyranometers and pyrheliometers.

July 2011: Hukseflux launched the first Solar Radiation Measurement app for iPhone. The pyranometerApp is ment for fun and educational use only. As one of our clients, you know off course that measurement of solar radiation is serious business. But it could be nice to spend some time during the summer holiday season to see what your iPhone is capable off. >More
May 2011: Hukseflux is selected as partner in the nano-On-Spect program. NanoOnSpect is an SME-targeted collaborative project funded by the European Commission. The project involves 12 partners from 6 European countries, and has a total budget of around EUR 4.7 million. It will run from 1st April 2011 to 31st March 2015. The project aims to accelerate the commercialization of innovative polymer nanocomposites by creating a comprehensive processing solution to quality problems.
May 2011: Hukseflux pyranometer LP02 (special version) has been selected by NASA to be the prefered sensor for the NASA balloon program. The choice was made by comparative testing against several competitors under conditions simulating the pressures and temperatures during this mission.
April 2011: Hukseflux was selected by Philips Lighting to co-design a LED Engine Thermal Power Measurement System. This system will be used for testing the thermal behaviour of a new generation of LED Light Engines. The test equipment willplay a role in standardisation of LED Light Engines.
